SHOOTING SCHOOL!  [LONG-RANGE!]

The Hunt: Two days for two shooters…learn how to confidently shoot at long range…really long range!  All equipment and ammo provided.

Description: Learn what is really necessary to make a 1000 yard shot!  From the science behind bullet and cartridge selection, to simplification techniques to compensate for Corriolis and Spin Drift--not to mention Wind Deflection!

The Shooting School is also great way to get your hands on the exciting long range shooting systems from Gunwerks.  All the shooting equipment is provided.  You'll shoot a Gunwerks LR-1000 shooting system and Gunwerks Long Range Ammunition.  Caldwell and Tipton provide the cleaning equipment and shooting rests.

You've seen many of our Gunwerks Long Range Tips on the TV program "The Best of the West".  Now you can get the same instruction live!  For in depth training, a hands-on course will significantly reduce your time to proficiency!

You and your partner will gain an entirely new level of confidence in what it takes to effectively shoot at extreme distance!

 

 

 

We offer an intense two day program using the best equipment in the industry that eliminates equipment concerns and focuses on technique and practical implementation.

It is our mission to educate and instruct shooters on equipment and techniques that promote ethical one shot kills, and seek out technology that can make it happen at extreme ranges!

Two-day classes are offered in May and June. Size is limited to 10 students. Sign up for a Mon-Tues or a Wed-Thurs schedule.

Class Description: Your time will be split between classroom and field shooting. We’ll show you the science behind long range shooting, and then apply it in the field. The rifles, ammo and shooting products are provided by Gunwerks - you don’t need to bring any shooting gear! When you are finished with this course you will have a cursory understanding of 1000 yard ballistics, and field experience shooting at those ranges.

Does it work?  Just ask Oklahoma SCI director Leonard Hansen...after completing the school, Leonard took his next pronghorn at 700 yards!

So…get yourself to Cody, Wyoming.  Stay wherever you wish (lodging is not included, but you’ll get a discount at the Holiday Inn).  Each morning of the two-day school, Gunwerks will pick you up for the 40-mile drive to the training facilty, Gunwerks will provide a light breakfast and lunch, and Gunwerks will drive you back to your lodging in Cody.  Dinner is on your own; Holiday Inn is close to many restaurants.
