HUNT SOUTH AFRICA’S BEAUTIFUL
EASTERN CAPE
WITH MANKAZANA SAFARIS
This beautiful hunting area is nestled in the foothills of the Great Winterberg Mountains and is comprised of
80,000 acres with few high fences. Mankazana offers the finest free range hunting for Eastern Cape kudu and
bushbuck to be found anywhere. Over thirty total species are offered to the discriminating hunter. Our motto is
“Come Prepared to Walk and Stalk the Game”. Shooting from vehicles is strictly forbidden, but in our game
rich country anyone who can walk a mile can have a successful hunt.
So, if hunting in Africa has been your dream, here is an excellent opportunity to help the Oklahoma Station
Chapter of SCI and fulfill that dream at the same time.
You are bidding on the following
: Full day fees (Daily Rate) for one hunter 1x1 (one hunter, one guide) and
one observer (non hunting companion) for a full ten (10) days of hunting.
AND
your choice of
three
of these
five
trophy animals: impala, blesbuck, common springbuck, gray duiker, warthog. This is a $7145 value.
Additional animals may be added at current trophy fees, if quota is available. The observer may be upgraded to
a 1x1 hunter for an additional $220 per day plus trophy fees.
This Package Includes
: Services of a licensed professional hunter (guide), hunting vehicle and support team.
Pick-up and drop-off at Port Elizabeth Airport. Accommodations, meals, soft drinks, liquor, local beer and
wines in reasonable quantities. Daily laundry service. Trophy fees for the included animals. Field preparation
of trophies and delivery of trophies to a local taxidermist or shipping agent.
This Package DOES NOT INCLUDE
: Any air travel, pre and post safari accommodations and meals.
Trophy fees for animals taken in addition to those included in the package or animals wounded and lost. Hire
of rifles and ammunition. Gratuities to professional hunter and staff. The preparation, packing,
documentation
and export of trophies from South Africa and all items of a personal nature.
If the winning bidder wishes to add additional days, they may do so at current rates. The safari can be
taken in 2012 or 2013. We hunt mid-March to mid-August.
To reserve their preferred hunting dates the winning bidder MUST contact Joe or Barbara Dabney (see
below) within 60 days of the auction closing date. Failure to do so may result in their having to accept
what ever dates are available.
