Polar Bear Action Alert

SCI members – if you or anyone you know (1) hunted polar bears in Canada this spring and have a desire to import your trophy or (2) have made plans to hunt polar bears in Canada in 2009 or 2010 (regardless of whether you have cancelled those plans because of the import ban currently in place), please contact SCI Litigation Counsel Doug Burdin at dburdin@safariclub.org for information about the ongoing litigation and possibly to help SCI in its litigation. When contacting Doug, please provide your contact information (e-mail addresses, phone numbers, fax). SCI’s lawsuit challenging the import ban, along with several other cases involving the polar bear listing, are moving along in the courts.
